Abstract

The family Hope Program (PKH) is the provision of conditional social assistance to poor and vulnerable families and or someone who is registered in integrated data handling of the poor, processed by social welfare data and information center and designated as PKH beneficiary families. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence and how the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Overcoming Poverty in Batu Bersurat Village, XIII Koto Kampar Distric. The research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type of approach, which describes the situation as it is and explains th variables studied, which amounted to 6 people consisting of key informan and informants, based on the research that has been done, the result show that the Effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in Overcoming Poverty in Btu Bersurat Village The letter from District XIII Koto Kampar using the indicators of Program Understanding, Right on Target, Right on Time, Achieving Goals and Real Changes show that the Family Hope Program has not been effective in overcoming poverty. Barries to the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) are incomplete assistance recipients, public ignorance, ineffective communication media, and the small number of companions. The research’s input and suggestions for this research are for the social service to be more thorought in determining the target recipients of the Family Hope Program and increasing the number of companions for the Family Hope Program (PKH) so that implementation of activities can run well.
