Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the role of office layout on physical environmental factors in the Administrative Bureau of Personnel Affairs at the Islamic University of Riau in the Personnel Section. The method used in making this working paper is the Correlational method. Correlational method is an act of determining data by comparing theory and discussion. Based on the analysis and observations, it can be seen that the layout of the office in the Administrative Bureau of the Personnel Section can be said to be less visible than the maximum. Due to the physical environmental factors, the lighting is still lacking because there are some lights that have not been repaired and from the noise factor it is still said to be not good due to the sound of office machines and the sound of employee cellphone tones which make other employees feel disturbed, but the air factor and color factor are already looks maximum because the air conditioner (AC) in the room has made the air cool and comfortable for employees and in the factor of choosing the color of the walls already using bright colors.
