Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the readiness of teachers in facing online at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat. When this research was conducted in August 2020. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Rengat, which amounted to 20 teachers. The technique of determining the sample is purporsive sampling. In this study using questionnaires (questionnaire) and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is teacher readiness in facing online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat seen from online scores with an average of 3.32 categorized as ready, it can also be seen from the percentage of the questionnaire, namely in physical readiness there is 85.75% which is categorized as very good, 84.25% of mental readiness was categorized as very good, 88.25% of knowledge readiness was categorized as very good, 93% of emotional readiness was categorized as very good. So that the online learning process can be carried out well and the average teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat is doing online learning using google classroom media on the grounds that google classroom is commonly used and easier to understand in its use for both students and teachers. Apart from using google classroom, teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat also use WhatsAppp group to assign assignments for each subject with the aim of saving more on students' internet quota and teachers can see whether the student is online or not.
