Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the stock price index (IHSG) and financial ratios on stock returns in transportation companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period. The number of population taken as many as 30 companies with purposive sampling method. Data collection is done through secondary data. The analysis technique carried out in this study used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the Market Return (IHSG), ROA, DER, and PER simultaneously had a significant effect on stock returns. Market return (IHSG), Return on assets, and Price earning ratio partially have a significant effect on stock returns. While the Debt to equity ratio partially does not have a significant effect on stock returns.
