Abstract

Motivation is an impulse, will, which ignores someone to do an action that reaches a certain goal. This study aims to find out the picture of motivation using headscarves at the Islamic University of Raiu. The population in this study were female students at the Riau Islamic University, the number of samples was 263 students. The sampling technique used is sampling quota. The research method used was quantitative descriptive using the SPSS 17.0 program. Based on the analysis of the test results obtained that intrinsic factors that encourage female students to use hijab with an average yield of 47.205 and extrinsic factors that reinforce the urge of students to wear headscarves with an average yield of 27.103.
