Abstract

This study aims to determine how the management of the Kedidi Art Studio in Bagan Punak Pesisir Rokan Hilir Riau Province. According to George R. Terry in M. Jazuli which explains the management functions, namely: i) operational planning, planning routine training schedules, adding special training schedules when preparing for an appearance, accepting new members, using methods in the teaching and learning process, selecting core group, and produce dance works. ii) the organization has also been running at the Kedidi Art Studio, this can also be seen from the regeneration of the management, the formation of an organizational structure and the regeneration of the core dancer group. iii) the mobilization has also been going well, this can be seen from the participation of the Kedidi Art Studio in this performance as a form of mobilization from what had been planned and organized at the previous management stage. iv) the supervision carried out at the Kedidi Art Studio has also gone very well, this can be seen from the direct supervision of the head of the studio on the teaching process and activities that take place at the Kedidi Art Studio. In this study using descriptive analysis method using qualitative data with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the management of the Kedidi Art Studio has been running in accordance with the management function. And the management at the Kedidi Art Studio in Bagan Punak Perisir Rokan Hilir Riau Province has been going well. This can be seen from all the activities of the Kedidi Art Studio management in carrying out all their duties.
