Abstract

Studying while working is already widely found among students. Many considerations underlie the college students while working starting from the demands of the economy or just a hobby. But this does not fully give satisfaction to the students. This is because students feel less and want to live well. This study intends to study scie ntifically the relationship between Qonaah and life satisfaction of working students at the University of Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study were 130 working students in the faculty of economics and business at University of Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru using purposive sampling techniques. The instrument for retrieving data in this study was Qonaah and Life Satisfaction that had been modified by res earchers from previous studies. Data analy sis using correlation analysis S pearmans rho with the help of SPSS 18.0 for Windows. The results of the spearmans rho correlation analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.329 with a value of p = 0,000 (p<0 .01) which showed that there was a positive relationship with qanaah with life satisfaction in working students at the University of Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru .
