Abstract

This research was conducted for 12 days starting on 12 - 23 June 2019 at the Pekanbaru KIPM Station laboratory. This study aims to determine the type of bacteria on MOL fermented golden snail eggs that are antagonistic to inhibit the growth of A. hydrophila bacteria. The method used is eksploratif method. MOL fermented golden snail eggs were tested antagonist with A. hydrophila bacteria and identified to determine the type of bacteria. Observation results obtained in two forms of colonies namely PB (White Round) colonies with wavy edges, convex elevation, white color and BB (Round Star) colonies jagged edges, convex elevation, yellowish white color, positive gram and coccus shaped. Antagonistic test produces low potential inhibition with an average diameter of 5,2 mm in PB colonies and 5,5 mm in BB colonies with the identification/characteristics of Staphylococcus sp.
