Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of educational qualifications of principals on the management of Early Childhood Education in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were all school principals in Rupat District, Bengkalis Regency, amounting to 33 school principals. Techniques in data collection using questionnaires and supported by documentation studies. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and factor analysis. To determine the effect of principal educational qualifications on the management of Early Childhood Education, it is processed using linear regression data analysis techniques with the help of SPSS Windows Release 16. The results showed that there was a coefficient level of linear regression between the qualification variables of the principal's education and the management of Early Childhood Education as much as 0.005 and a significance level of = 0.944. And there is a level of correlation R with the number 0.013 and a coefficient of determination (KD) rsquare of 0.000 (0%). It can be concluded, that variable X has no influence on variable Y. Because the significance level is 0.944 ≥ 0.05. Hereby declares that Ha was rejected and Ho was accepted.
