Abstract
This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. In connection with this research, the object of distribution is the Distribution Business in Pekanbaru City. As for the problem in this research is whether the application of accounting carried out by the distribution business is in accordance with the basic concept of accounting. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of accounting carried out by business distros in the city of Pekanbaru with the basic concepts of accounting concepts. The data collected is primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is in the form of interviews and observations. While the data analysis uses descriptive methods. Based on the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the distribution business in the city of Pekanbaru is not in accordance with the basic concept of accounting.
