Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of board of commissioners size, risk management committee, and firm size on the implementation of enterprise risk management in banking companies listed on the IDX. The population of this study is a banking companies listed on the IDX for period 2014-2018. This study used purposive sampling method and sample selected are 38 banking companies. The analysis data on this study used logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the variable of board of commissioners size, risk management committee, and company size simultaneously influenced the implementation of enterprise risk management. Meanwhile, partially, the board of commissioners size variable has a negative and significant effect on the implementation of enterprise risk management, the risk management committee variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the implementation of enterprise risk management, and the variable firm size has a positive and significant effect on the implementation of enterprise risk management.
