Abstract
The purpose of this study is to predict land use change in Tampan District from 2008-2033. This research uses sas planet image data that has been visually interpreted using arcgis software and uses the cellular automata method which can be used to see land use predictions in Tampan District. To predict land use using 3 data, namely multi-temporal maps in 2008, 2013 and 2018, The three maps were analyzed using the overlay method. Other inputs are land use change probability maps and transition area matrices. Then the land use prediction was obtained from the cellular automata method using the Idrisi Selva software. The results of the study show that there are 2 land uses that have increased in area, namely offices and trade in services and settlements. Settlements in the Tampan District are predicted to have an area of 1978.83 ha, for the use of office land and trade services it is predicted that the area is 184.05 ha.Based on the binary logistic equation, the variables that affect land use change are the distance to the main road and the distance to industrial activities.
