Abstract
This research was conducted in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The object of this research is the restaurant business in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This study aims to determine the suitability of the accounting application carried out by restaurant businesses in Mandau District with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collection techniques in this study were structured interviews and documentation. While the analysis of this data is using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in restaurant businesses in Mandau District is not in accordance with the basic principles and concepts of accounting.
