Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of various types of bokashi and types of rhizomes on the growth and production of red ginger. The research design used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the type of Bokashi which consisted of 5 levels of treatment, namely: FMD (control), cow dung bokashi 250 g/plant, goat dung bokashi 250 g/plant, chicken dung bokashi 250 g/plant and elephant dung bokashi 250 g/plant and the second factor is the type of rhizome which consists of 2 levels of treatment, namely: rhizome tiller and rhizome parent. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaf buds, chlorophyll content, rate of photosynthesis, stomatal conductivity, wet rhizome weight per clump and dry rhizome weight per clump. . The results showed that the interaction effect of bokashi type and rhizome type was significant on plant height, chlorophyll content, photosynthetic rate, and stomata conductivity. The best results were found in the treatment of goat manure bokashi type and tiller rhizome type. The main effect of bokashi type was significant on all parameters. Observation. The best treatment was found in goat manure bokashi. The main effect of rhizome type was significant on plant height, chlorophyll content, photosynthesis rate, stomata conduction, wet rhizome weight per clump and dry rhizome weight per clump. The best treatment was found in tiller rhizome type.
