Abstract

Research entitled Response of Renek Long Bean Plant (Vigna unguiculata Var. sesquapedalis) to Application of Kascing Fertilizer and Nasa POC. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The time of the study was carried out for four months from July to November 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of the long bean plant to the application of NASA Kascing Fertilizer and POC. This study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor was the dose of vermicompost fertilizer consisting of four levels, namely without treatment, 600 g, 1,200 g and 1,800 g per plot. The second factor is the concentration of POC NASA which consists of four levels, namely without treatment, 2 cc, 4 cc and 6 cc / liter of water. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, pod weight per plant, and number of remaining pods. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Kascing Fertilizer and NASA POC affected the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of pods, pod weight per plant, number of remaining pods. The best combination of fertilizers is Kascing fertilizer water of 1,800 g/plot and NASA POC concentration of 6 cc/liter. The main effect of vermicompost fertilizer affects all parameters. The best dose of vermicompost is 1,800 g/plot. The main effect of NASA's POC affects all parameters. The best concentration of NASA POC is 6 cc/liter of water.
