Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction and the main effect on the application of Kascing Fertilizer and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 to Pagoda Sawi plants. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from April to June 2021. This study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is K (Fertilizer Kascing) consisting of 4 levels with a dose of 0 g/polybag, 25 g/polybag, 50 g/polybag, and 75 g/polybag. The levels are: 0 g/polybag, 0.5 g/polybag, 1 g/polybag, and 1.5 g/polybag. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), mustard wet weight (g), mustard dry weight (g) and root volume (cm3). Observational data were analyzed statistically and BNJ test was performed at 5% level. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded as follows: the interaction of Kascing Fertilizer and Pearl NPK 16: 16: 16 was significant on the parameters of plant height (cm), mustard wet weight (g), mustard dry weight and root volume. The best treatments were Kascing Fertilizer 50 g/polybag and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 1.5 g/polybag (K2N3). The main effect of Kascing Fertilizer is real on all observation parameters. The best treatment is Kascing Fertilizer 50 g/polybag (K2). The main effect of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 was significant for all parameters. The best treatment was NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 1.5 g/polybag (N3).
