Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine thead just mentof accounting application in the Barbershop business in the District of Pemilahan Kota with the basic concept sof accounting. The data taken are primary business data and secondary business data. The data collection method in this research isusing interview, documentation, and observation methods. After all data has been collected, the data is process edusing descriptive methods. Based onthe result sof the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the recording carried out by Barber shop entrepreneurs has not applied the basic concept sofa ccounting thoroughly. As for the research that conducts recording based on cash basis, andalso Barber shop entrepreneurs do not applythe concept of business unity Accounting for medium-sized businesses, the application of accounting by medium-sized businesses, whetheror not the accounting application formedium-sized businessesis appropriate with basic accounting concepts
