Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of management information systems regional at Sub-district Office of Pangkalan Kerinci Pelalawan Regency. The indicators used in this study use the theory of George C. Edward III is Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure. The location of the study was carried out at the Pangkalan Kerinci Sub-district Head's Office, Pelalawan Regency. This type of research used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative research method that researchers provide an overview of the state of the object of research in accordance with social phenomena in a systematic, factual, accurate and can be continued with the theories of experts using data collection, the technique is documentation, interview, observation. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, the implementation of Regional Financial Management Information System in the Pangkalan Kerinci District office went well for the management of financial reporting in the Pangkalan Kerinci Regency office because the implementation of the policy was carried out in accordance with four implementation indicators in accordance with Edward III's theory. The implementation of a good policy will provide good, transparent and reliable governance and finance as well as increase services to the people of Pelalawan Regency in general and Pangkalan Kerinci District in particular. Factors that become obstacles in the Implementation of Financial Management Information Systems in the Kerinci Pangkalan Sub-District Office are frequent application errors, cannot be corrected immediately only corrects incorrect data so that if an error occurs in the report input must be canceled and repeat the input, there is no incentive obtained by the application operator, often the network connection is lost when the user is in the process of submitting a report, the sub-district office employee still relies on the task of the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency if there is a technical application failure, there is still a lack of user understanding of the users of the Regional Finance Management Information System application.
