Abstract

research with the title Improvement Growth and Production of Curly Chili (Capsicum annum. L) with the Application of Various Insecticides and Doses of POC D.I Grow "This study has been implemented on the land of the Riau Islamic University Dormitory, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for five months, starting from October 2019 until February 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactions application of various insecticides and the Dose of POC D.I Grow to increase growth and production of curly chilies (Capsicum annum L.). This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of 2 factors with 3 replications. The first factor is various insecticides consist of 4 levels: no pesticides, Agrimec (0.25%), Curacron 500 EC (0.50%), Pegasus 500 EC (1.00%). While the second factor is the dosage of POC D.I Grow consists of 4 levels: 0 (without POC), 2.5 ml, 5 ml, 7.5 ml POC per liter of water. The parameters observed were plant height, number secondary branches, flowering age, harvest age, crop weight, number the fruit of the crop and the number of residual fruits. Data were analyzed statistically and tested BNJ continued at the 5% level. The results showed that the interactions of various insecticides and The dosage of POC D.I Grow had no significant effect on treatment being observed. The main effect of various insecticides was significant on parameters amount of leftover fruit. Pegasus pesticide is the best treatment. Influence the main liquid organic fertilizer D.I Grow was significant on plant height, age flowering, age of harvest and number of residual fruit. POC D.I Grow's best treatment 7.5 ml / l water.
