Abstract

research with the title "Effects of Compost Titonia and Grand-K Fertilizer on Plant Growth and Production Dayak Onion (Eleutherine americana Merr.) This research has been carried out at UIRA Agro Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Teropong No. 62, Kubang Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency during six months from October 2019 to March 2020. The objectives of the study This is to determine the effect of the interaction as well as each factor main ingredients are Titonia compost and Grand-K fertilizer for growth and production Dayak onions. This research is a 4x4 factorial experiment in a randomized design complete with 3 replications consisting of two factors. The first factor is dose of Compost Titonia (T) consisting of 4 levels, 0; 0.5; 1.0 and 1.5 kg per the plot. The second factor is the dose of Grand-K (G) fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, i.e. 0, 5, 10 and 15 grams per plot. The observed parameter is the growth rate relative (LPR), plant height, number of tubers per clump, wet tuber weight per clumps, dry tuber weight per clump and percentage of tuber shrinkage. Data observations were analyzed statistically and continued with a BNJ further test on 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Titonia compost and fertilizer Grand-K significantly influences the number of tubers per clump, wet weight of tubers per clump and tuber dry weight per clump. The best treatment is combination treatment of 1.5 kg / plot Titonia compost and 10 g / plot Grand-K fertilizer (T3G2) or a combination of 1.5 kg / plot Titonia compost treatment and Grand-K fertilizer 15 g / plot (T3G3). The main influence of Titonia compost is apparent on all observation parameters, the best treatment is the dose of 1.5 kg / plot (T3). Influence The main dose of Grand-K fertilizer was evident against all observational parameters the best treatment is (G2) a dose of 10 g / plot or (G3) a dose of 15 g / plot.
