Abstract

This study entitled "PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting) Application Rhizobacteria) and Gandasil B in Increasing Growth and Production Cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) has been implemented in the garden Trial of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City for 6 months, starting from November 2019 to April 2020. The purpose of this study is to determine the main interaction and influence of PGPR and gandasil B in increasing the growth and production of cayenne pepper. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of of two factors. The first factor is P (soaking the seeds in PGPR solution) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 2, 4, and 6 hours while the second factor is G. (double dose B) which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 1.5, 3, and 4.5 g / l of water repeated 3 times, in order to obtain 48 experimental units. Observed parameters namely germination age, plant height, flowering age, flower percentage become pistil, percentage of pistil to fruit, age of harvest, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, and percentage of plants who have a virus. Data were analyzed statistically and continued with real difference test honest (BNJ) at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between PGPR and gandasil B significant effect on the number of fruits per plant and fruit weight per plant with the best treatment is a combination of treatment without PGPR and gandasil B 0 g / l water (P0G0). The main effect of PGPR on germination age was high plants aged 10 hss and 42 dast, harvest age, and number of fruits per plant. The best treatment was P0 (0 hours) for plant height at 42 days after planting and number of fruits per plant, as well as P1 (2 hours) for plant height aged 10 hss, age germinate, and the age of harvest. The main effect of double B is significant on age flowering and fruit weight per fruit with the best treatment 0 g / l water (G0). Furthermore, the percentage of plants attacked by the virus was 15.10%.
