Abstract
Riau Islands Province with a total area of 425,214.67 km² which consists of 9,982.88 km² of land and 415,231.79 km² of sea. (Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2017 concerning spatial planning for Riau Islands), Kepri Province territory contains bauxite for road construction using a special rigid pavement construction in Batam City, therefore this research tries and reviews technically studies of compressive strength and flexural rigid pavement concrete. The purpose of this study was to determine or analyze cracks by the effect of ordinary water and bauxite immersion on compressive strength and flexural strength of K350 concrete at the age of 7,14,28,56 days. Based on the results of the PUPR Labotarium of the Riau Islands Province, the tools we use are plain water and water containing bauxite for immersion, Tiga Roda cement, fine and coarse aggregates from Karimun, the main tool for ASTM standard filters, with 36 test pieces and cubes of 7,14.28, 56 and compressive and flexural test machines of beam molds and cube compressive strength test on K-350 quality concrete, with compressive strength of 15 x 15 x 15 immersion Plain Water and Bauxite Water at the age of 7 days is 40.12 / 37.04 MPa which is 10.8% and age 14 days is 32.13 / 30.42 MPa, which is 10.5% age of 28 days is 30.85 / 30.66 MPa which is 10.1% and 56 days is 34.21 / 34.90 MPa which is 9.8%. Beam flexural strength test results of 15 x 15 x 60 immersion of Normal Water and Bauxite Water at the age of 7 days is 33.47 / 20.27 MPa which is 16.5% age 28 days 36.63 / 37.93 MPa which is 9.6% age 7 days while age 28 days is 16.5%. For comparison of the results of the average flexural test for 7 days, the difference in the test results is very significant, where the Normal Water Immersion is higher at 33.47 MPa, Bauxite Water 20.27 MPa while for the concrete age 28 days the test results of the flexural strength of high immersion Bauxite water are 37.93 MPa and 36.63 MPa for an ordinary marinade. age 28 days and 56 days comparison Concrete Compression Test Results there were no striking differences, even the results of the compressive test with a smaller bauxite water so that the result was a little Mpa
