Abstract

Research this has been implemented in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, during four months starting from April to July 2020. The purpose of this study is to know the interaction effect and the main dosage of Wood Charcoal Biochar and Cow urine POC concentration on growth and production of celery. The experimental design used in this study was Design Factorial Completely Randomized consisting of two factors. The first factor is giving Wood Charcoal Biochar (B) with 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 12.5, 25, 37.5 g / polybag and factor second is the provision of POC Cow Urine (S) with 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 6.25, 12.5, 18.75 cc / l crop. The parameters observed were plant height, soil pH, amount midrib, number of tillers, wet weight per plant, economic weight per plant and root volume. Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of Wood Charcoal Biochar and Beef Urine POC affected all the parameters of the observation. The best treatment was wood charcoal biochar dose 37.5 g / polybag and cow urine POC 18.75 cc / l per plant (B3S3). The main factor of wood charcoal biochar affected all the observed parameters. The best treatment is the dose of Biochar Wood Charcoal 37.5 g / polybag (B3). The main factor of POC cow urine affects all the parameters of the observation. The best treatment is Beef urine POC concentration 18.75 cc / l per plant (S3)
