Abstract

This research was conducted at Experimental Garden Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was conducted for three months from January to March 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the main and interaction between P fertilizer and coconut dregs waste on the growth and production of long bean plant. This study used a completely randomized factorial design consisting of two factors. The first factor was the TSP fertilizer dose which consisted of four levels, namely without treatment, 2.5 g, 5 g and 7.5 g per plant. The second factor was the dosage of coconut dregs which consisted of four levels, namely without treatment, 75 g, 150 g and 225 g per plot. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, pod length, pod weight per plant, pod weight per pod and number of pods per plant. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between TSP and coconut dregs waste had a significant effect on the parameters of flowering age, pod length, pod weight per plant, pod weight per pod, number of pods per plant. The best combination of fertilizer dosage is TSP 7.5 g / plant and coconut dregs waste 150 g / plot. The main effect of TSP fertilizer has a significant effect on all parameters. The best dose of TSP is 7.5 g / plant. The main effect of coconut dregs waste has a significant effect on all parameters. The best dose of coconut dregs waste is 150 g / plot.
