Abstract

This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 2 months starting in October - November 2020. The objectives of the study were: to determine the effect of the interaction between cow manure and NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 on the growth of pakcoy mustard. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the dose of cow manure (S) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 125, 250 and 375 g / polybag, while the second factor is various doses of NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3,75, 7.50 and 11.25 g / polybag. There were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. Then there are 48 experimental units. Each unit consists of 4 plants, and 2 of them are used as sample plants, so that the total number is 192 plants. The observation parameters in this study were: plant height, number of leaves, average leaf width, wet weight per plant and root volume. If F count is greater than F table, then continue with the Honestly Significant Difference Continuation Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study concluded that: The interaction of cow manure and NPK 16:16:16 is significant for all observed parameters. The best treatment was cow manure dosage 375 g / polybag and NPK 16:16:16 11.25 g / polybag. The main effect of cow manure was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is the dose of cow pen 375 g / polybag. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 dose was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the NPK dose of 16:16:16 11.25 g / polybag.
