Abstract
Madison Jaya Harahap (134110065) research with the title "Effect of fertilizer D.I. Grow and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 on the growth and production of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) ”. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. Jln. Kaharuddin Nasution KM 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The research was conducted for four months, from September to December 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main fertilizer D. I. Grow and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of purple eggplant. This study used a factorial completely randomized design, consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of D.I. Grow (D) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 6 and 9 ml / l of water. The second factor was the dose of NPK 16:16:16 (N) which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 4.5., 9 and 13.5 g / plant. So that. With 3 replications so that the experiment consisted of 48 plots. Observation parameters were: plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and number of residual fruits. Data were analyzed statistically if F count was greater than F table then it was followed by further test of honest real difference (BNJ) at 5% level. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the interaction of POC D. I. Grow and NPK 16:16:16 is significant for all parameters except flowering and harvesting age. POC concentration best treatment. D. I. Grow 9 ml / l of water and a dose of NPK 16 16:16 13.5 g / plant. The main effect of POC D. I. Grow was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was the concentration of POC D. I. Grow 9 ml / lair. The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 dose was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was NPK 16:16:16 13.5 g / plant.
