Abstract

Employee leave rights in Indonesia are regulated in the Manpower Act No. 13 of 2003 on leave functions is to refresh employees from work. But that is a conditional right. So only qualified employees can take time off. The fact stated that it really depends on the company. In the Act also stated that the implementation of annual leave is determined based on the results of discussions between employees and the company. In practice, many companies make their own regulations by removing these leave if workers do not take a certain period, for example 6 months or one year. How the granting of leave rights for employees based on Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning employment at PT. Indah Cargo in Pekanbaru City, and What are the Obstacles to the Implementation of the Granting of Leave Rights for Employees Based on Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning employment at PT. Beautiful Cargo In Pekanbaru City. The research that the author wants to do is a type of research, observational research or known as survey research. While its nature is descriptive. Research results The implementation of granting leave rights for employees based on Act Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment at PT Indah Kargo in Pekanbaru City is not yet running optimally, because the provision of leave given to employees has not been in accordance with labor provisions, especially in Article 79 paragraph (2) letter c, because based on the provisions of annual leave rights granted for 12 days, but employees can not take the entire leave. Inhibiting the Implementation of Employee Leave Rights Rights Based on Law Number 13 Year 2003 Regarding Employment at PT Indah Kargo in Pekanbaru City is due to the company lacking manpower so that the company does not want to take the risk of granting leave, the tight delivery schedule so that it cannot be abandoned, cannot there is another karawayan that wants to replace employees who want to take time off.
