Abstract

Studies on the Naqsabandiyah Congregation have been widely carried out, but the discussion on its contribution to the community of Ukui Dua Village in Pelalawan regency has not been found. This study aims to investigate the contribution of the Naqsabandiyah Congregation in building moral education to the community of Ukui Dua Village in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The type of this study is qualitative with three research informants. The data were collected by interviewing and analyzed through data display, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that there are 20 contributions of Naqsabandiyah Congregation to the community’s moral education, namely; Presenting a sense of Faith and Taqwa to Allah SWT; Taking care of themselves; Conducting religious lectures and Tabligh Akbar; Islamic studies; Tawakkal and Grateful; Doing penance and dhikr; Reciting Surah Yasin; Tausiyah and fasting; Monotheism; Ridha; Celebrating Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday and Isra’ Mi’raj; Hadith and As-sunnah; Reciting Shalawat; Saying greetings; Tolerating; A sense of caring; Pilgrimage; Attending the invitation; Loving animals and nurturing plants; and being the Caliph. The advantages of this study for the local government and especially for the tarekat teachers are as a reference material for the development of moral education learning and as an enrichment of Islamic culture.
