Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress and burnout of students who are facing online thesis on students at the Islamic University of Riau Pekanbaru. This study uses purposive sampling technique with data analysis used is the Spearman Rho statistical analysis using 22 items on the stress scale and 23 items on the scale for burnout which are distributed to the sample used as many as 100 students who are facing online thesis assignments to students at the Islamic University of Riau. Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between stress and burnout. Based on the results of the analysis, the correlation coefficient (r) of the relationship between stress and burnout is obtained by r = 0.372 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05) students who are facing online theses on students at the Islamic University of Riau Pekanbaru with positive results which means the higher the stress the higher the burnout.
