Abstract
According to Article 76 paragraph (3) and paragraph (4) of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower, it is clear that entrepreneurs are required to provide nutritious food and drinks, maintain moral norms, maintain security while in the workplace, and provide transportation between women workers pick up and go home between 23.00 and 05.00. However, in reality it is known that some female employees do not know some of their rights as workers, such as workers' rights to menstrual leave, maternity leave, and several other rights. As is the case with female workers at the Family Box Pekanbaru. The formulations of the problems in this research are: 1) How is the fulfillment of the rights of women workers in the Pekanbaru Family Box according to Law Number 13 of 2003 ?, 2) What is the proper legal protection to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of women workers in the Pekanbaru Family Box according to Law No. 13 of 2003? The type and nature of this research is classified as observational research, in which this research goes directly to the field where this research is conducted in order to obtain complete interviews and data, while its nature is descriptive. The research location is in Family Box Pekanbaru with a total sample of 5 people. The result of this research is that the fulfillment of the rights of women workers in the Pekanbaru Family Box according to Law Number 13 Year 2003 has not been fulfilled optimally. Some of the rights of women workers that have not been properly fulfilled are the right to get the availability of transportation back by the business place, the right to menstrual period, the right to provide space for breastfeeding, the right to rest hours and the right to medical examinations, pregnancy, and delivery costs. Appropriate legal protection to ensure the fulfillment of the rights of women workers in the Pekanbaru Family Box according to Law Number 13 of 2003 means that every business actor must comply with statutory provisions. However, in practice the rights of women workers cannot be fully protected due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of women workers regarding their rights and the absence of strict sanctions for companies or business actors who do not implement the provisions regulating the rights of women workers in accordance with the provisions. Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower.
