Abstract

Development of Mathematics Learning Devices Using Problem Based Learning Models on Straight Line Equation Materials for Eighth Grade at Junior High School RAHMILYA CIWITHA NPM. 176410071 Thesis of Mathematics Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University Islamic of Riau Supervisor: Drs. Abdurrahman, M.Pd ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the validity of the mathematics learning device using the Problem Based Learning model. Learning tools are lesson plans and student worksheets. This study uses a modified R&D research type because the research was conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic with the following steps: potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validity, design revision, and final product. The data collection technique used is validation data from 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and 1 teacher at Babussalam Junior High School Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used is validation data analysis. From the research results obtained RPP validation results for aspects of component completeness with a Guttman scale of 100%, namely very valid criteria and other aspects with a Likert scale of 80, 95%, namely the criteria are quite valid or can be used with minor revisions. Meanwhile, the student worksheets for the component completeness aspect with a Guttman scale of 100% are very valid criteria and other aspects with a Likert scale of 83.15% namely the criteria are quite valid or can be used with minor revisions. Based on the results of this study, it was obtained that mathematics learning tools using the Problem Based Learning model on the material of straight-line equations at Babussalam Junior High School Pekanbaru were tested valid.
