Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the strategy of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Bengkalis Regency in the Development of Tourism Objects in Bantan District. There are 3 (three) research indicators used by the author in this study, namely goals, policies, programs. The type of research located in the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Bengkalis Regency, UPT of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Bantan District, Tourism Object Area in Bantan District. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis research method. Where to conduct direct research to the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Bengkalis Regency, UPT of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports of Bantan District, tourist attraction areas in Bantan District so that existing phenomena are based on actual facts when researching using the type observational research, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research conducted, the results show that there is still a lack or not going well with the Strategy of the Tourism Office in developing tourist attractions in Bantan District.
