Abstract

This study aims to describe the supervision of the Muara Lembu Motor Vehicle Weighing Implementing Unit on the goods transport permit. In addition, to find out the inhibiting factors for the supervision of the Motor Vehicle Implementing Unit on the transportation of goods. The type used by the author in this study is descriptive qualitative with research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of spoken and written words and behaviors that are carried out and observed. The research subjects were the Implementing Unit Coordinator, functional officers, and several drivers or drivers of heavy vehicles. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The types and techniques of data collection used consisted of primary data which was collected through a list of interviews and field research results as well as secondary data collected using in the form of reports and notes and documents. Based on the results of the study, researchers can conclude that the Muara Lemb Motor Vehicle Weighing Implementation Unit, Kuantan Singingi Regency has carried out its duties well. The inhibiting factors found were the lack of human resources, lack of supporting facilities, and lack of strong synergy with related parties.
