Abstract

Labor / labor problems throughout the period have never been resolved, from the problems of protection, wages, welfare, industrial relations disputes, development, and labor inspection. This is more due to the government's weaknesses systematically in implementing the Manpower Act, and even there tends to be irregularities, another matter is the problem of coordination and performance between government agencies is not optimal and is still very alarming. In this study, the authors define the following main issues How the implementation of legal protection of the rights to safety and health of women workers in Cv. Terusan Jaya Mandiri and What are the factors inhibiting legal protection for the rights of women workers in Cv. Terusan Jaya Mandiri. The research method used was observational research by survey, the authors conducted research directly to the research location in Cv. Terusan Jaya Mandiri in the Siak Hulu sub-district of Kampar Regency, to obtain the data needed by using data collection tools in the form of interviews and questionnaires and the nature of this research is descriptive which means this study provides an overview of a statement that is complete, detailed, and clear about the implementation legal protection of female workers. The results showed that the company, namely Cv. Terusan Jaya Mandiri does not provide full legal protection and the rights of women workers, specifically regarding their reproductive rights because women's reproductive rights are very influential in their work even though they have been regulated in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Labor.
