Abstract

The implementation of goods delivery agreements sometimes does not always run smoothly, for example goods that have been agreed by both parties to be sent did not arrive at their destination, the goods were late to their destination or even the goods were damaged / lost during the trip. As is the case with PT. JNE Tiki mentioned above, where the JNE is not responsible to the consumer or sender for the loss of the item and considers it not the fault of his side, but there are other things that cause the shipment of the item did not arrive. Not a few consumers who feel disadvantaged and are not satisfied with the response to the solution provided by PT Tiki JNE. If there is a default in the delivery of goods and documents, then the JNE is responsible to the consumer or the sender and the consumer or sender has the right to claim compensation. The research problem is, How is the Implementation of Goods and Documents Package Delivery by PT TIKI JNE Pekanbaru Branch, and How is the responsibility of PT Tiki JNE Pekanbaru Branch for the non-arrival of packages of goods and documents at the destination address of receipt. The research method is Observational Research / Sociological research conducted by survey, which is research directly to the location of research using a data collection tool in the form of interviews. This writing is analytical descriptive, which means that the research is intended to provide a detailed, clear and systematic description of the main problems of the study The results of the study note that regarding the Implementation of Goods and Documents Package Delivery by PT TIKI JNE Pekanbaru Branch is not yet running optimally because there are still goods or documents sent by the consumer that do not arrive at their destination, this is caused by the delivery courier not finding the recipient's address and arguing that the recipient's destination address is not clear so that the goods or documents sent are returned to the sender, and the responsibility of PT Tiki JNE Pekanbaru Branch for not arriving at the package of goods and documents at the destination address for receipt is that JNE is less responsible to the consumer / sender because it should if there is damage or loss of safekeeping goods, the JNE is responsible for losses with a maximum replacement of 10 (ten) times the cost of shipping and payment of losses from insured goods paid in full in accordance with the nominal value of the goods g is listed / stated in the insurance policy or compensation is paid with the same goods, but this does not happen even though the consumer has insured it as is the case with the Middle Tax Office who has experienced loss of sending documents that have been insured but did not get compensation.
