Abstract

Then when students get passing passes from teammates. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the contribution of eye-foot coordination to the passing and stopping skills of football in extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Rupat (2) the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the passing and stopping skills of football in extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Rupat (3) the contribution of eye-foot coordination and leg muscle explosive power to the passing and stopping skills of football in extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Rupat. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this study were extracurricular students, amounting to 25 people. The research instruments used were eye-foot coordination test, standing broadjump test and football passing and stopping test. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation test. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a contribution of eye-foot coordination and leg muscle explosive power to the passing and stopping skills of football in extracurricular students in SMP Negeri 1 Rupat with rcount = 0.541> rtable = 0.396 with KD = 29.27%.
