Abstract
sales fluctuations that occur at Focus Convection Stores in Pekanbaru City can be influenced by various factors. one of which can be caused by the lack of promotions carried out by business people which cause a drop in sales. This study aims to determine how much influence the promotion has a on purchasing decisions for futsal jerseys at the Cenvection Focus Shop in Pekanbaru. This research uses quantitative methods. Sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, the determination of the sample using the slovin formula to produces as many as 76 respondents to be studied. Data collection technique used questionnaire and the result were analyzed BY using simple linear regression analysis method with the help of the SPSS 24 program. Based on the results of the study, it is obtained that the T value is 10,650 which is known to be greater than the T table value of 1,992 so that it can be concluded that promotion (X) has a effect on consumer purchasing decisions (Y) futsal jerseys at Focus Convection Store Pekanbaru City. The R² value was 0,605 shown that 60,5% change in purchasing decisions is determined by the independent variable, namely promotion, while 39,5% is determined by other variables that are not examined in this study .
