Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power to shooting ability in the football game of SSB PERSEJI U-12 Kecamatan Inuman Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study with a total of 24 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the number of samples in this study were 24 soccer players. The test instruments used were the standing broadjump test and the shooting at the ball test. Data analysis technique used is to calculate the correlation value with the test formula r. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out it can be concluded that there is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the soccer shooting ability of soccer player SSB PERSEJI U-12 Kecamatan Inuman Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
