Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in passing and stopping football through variations of teaching students of class X MIPA 6 SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is PTK. The subjects of this study were 34 people. The research instrument used was the assessment of the passing and stopping work rubric. From the description of research and data analysis, this study can be concluded that through the method of teaching variation can improve the passing and stopping ability of football in class X MIPA 6 Senior High School 10 Pekanbaru with an average value in cycle I of 90.32 and a classical completeness value of 88, 24%.
