Abstract

Based on the results of research conducted in the field in class XI IPA B SMA Negeri 1 Lirik, in the first cycle has obtained very satisfying results with classical completeness with the number of 16 students with a percentage of 76%, and only a few have not reached the KKM which amounted to 5 students with a percentage of 24%, therefore there is no need for research into the next cycle because completeness is achieved above 50%. This research is motivated by a number of problems that researchers encountered in the field including the learning model given by the teacher to students less attractive in the javelin learning process, the number of students who were bored during the javelin learning process, inadequate facilities and infrastructure so that the learning process was ineffective, and the low javelin skills of students of class XI IPAB SMA Negeri 1 Lirik. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to improve the teaching and learning process and achieve the results of javelin learning with a modified learning model tool, and are expected to be able to increase student interest in learning so that the desired learning objectives are effectively achieved. From the learning outcomes of one cycle that researchers conducted in the field, the modified learning model of the tool was proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of javelin by 76% with student completeness of 16 students from 21 students, and only 24% had not been completed in the learning process under of javelin by 5 students.
