Abstract

The problem in this study is the results of shooting into student soccer goal is still not optimal, this can be seen from the speed of the ball when sliding into the goal is still slow due to the kick is not hard, so it is easily anticipated by the opposing goalkeeper. There are still some students who wear legs on the ball when shooting is sometimes not right. Not yet optimal use of physical elements such as leg muscle power. In addition, many student shooting has not been well directed. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle power to the results of shooting to the goal of male students class 2 / A class 2018 Penjaskesrek FKIP Universitas Islam Riau. The type of this research is correlation. The population and sample in this study were male students of class 2 / A class 2018 Penjaskesrek FKIP Universitas Islam Riau, amounting to 20 people. The research instruments used were the broadjump standing test and the shooting at the ball test. The data analysis technique used is the correlation value test. Based on the results of research that has been done it can be concluded that there is a contribution of leg muscle power to the results of shooting to the goal of male students class 2 / A Class 2018 Penjaskesrek FKIP Universitas Islam Riau by 41.09% with r count = 0.641> r table = 0.444 classified in the strong category.
