Abstract
The decrease in the production flow rate in the HDP#4 well caused acidizing to be carried out in the well. Acidizing carried out in the well serves to reduce or overcome the scale that occurs so that later the value of the production flow rate can increase again. The type of acidizing used in this well is matrix acidizing which can dissolve particles that clog the pores around the wellbore and ultimately increase the rate of oil production from a well. To determine the success of the matrix acidizing implementation, the productivity index (PI) and IPR will be calculated. After evaluating the successful implementation of Matrix acidzing in HDP#4 wells, an economic analysis was also carried out to determine the success rate of Matrix Acidizing work in HDP#4 wells. The results obtained from the evaluation include, before the implementation of matrix acidification in the HDP#4 well, the oil flow rate is 78 BOPD and the fluid flow rate is 99 BFPD, from the calculation of the productivity index (PI) of 0.5 bfpd/psi. Meanwhile, after matrix acidification, the oil flow rate (Qo) became 191 BOPD and the fluid flow rate (Q) became 285 BFPD, the productivity index (PI) became 1.45 bfpd/psi. And based on the economic analysis for the “HDP#4” well, the profit obtained by the contractor is 129300.90 USD which after deducting taxes, the profit obtained by the government after deducting taxes is 237051.65 USD, the NPV@DF12% value is 126672 USD, the ROR value is 5.55%, the DPIR value is 3.11, and the POT value is 22 days. Based on these economic indicators, the matrix acidizing stimulation project is profitable because it has a high NPV#DF12% price and a large positive DPIR, the ROR value is more than the MARR value of 5.50%, and the POT price is relatively fast.
