Abstract

The title of this research is "Proses Penciptaan Tari Bakudo Bono Di Sanggar Bina Tasik Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau". The problem in this research is how is the process of creating Bakudo Bono dance in Sanggar Bina Tasik, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province? The purpose of this study was to determine the process of creating Bakudo Bono dance at Sanggar Bina Tasik, Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The theory used is the theory of Alma M. Hawnkins (2001: 06), states that the process of creating dance is divided into three stages: 1) the exploration stage, 2) the improvisation stage, 3) the formation stage. The method used is a qualitative analysis research method that refers to interactive qualitative data, which is a technique of collecting data directly from people in the study environment that uses data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are the process of creating dance is divided into three stages, 1) this exploration stage is the stage of determining ideas, themes, concepts, titles, imagining, thinking, and feeling about the chosen theme, 2) the improvisation stage is the stage of testing and choosing, 3 ) the stage of formation is the final stage where this process combines, equalizes, and connects the symbols produced from various experiments.
