Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the Aesthetic Value of Batak Toba Batak Tortor Dance. The theory used to discuss dance elements and several other scientists, and one of the scientists about dance elements by Soedarsono, namely: 1) Variety of Motion, 2) Dynamics, 3) Floor Patterns, 4) Mus ic, 5) Costumes 6) Property 7) Make - up. The theory used to discuss the Beauty theory by The Liang Gie and several other scientists, namely: Unity, harmony, symmetry, balance, resistance. The research method uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative appr oach. The results of the study are 1) to find out the problem formulation which is how the Aesthetic Value of Batak Poba Buhit Tortor Dance in Sanggar BI Production Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The results of analyzing the Aesthetic Value of Pusuk Buhit Batak Tortor Dance at Sanggar BI Production Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, dance is a dance tradition of dance often displayed at the Batak Toba Tribal Marriage. The dance elements analyzed are about the Beauty of the Variety of Motion, the Beauty of Dynam ics, the Beauty of Floor Patterns, the Beauty of Music, the Beauty of Costumes, the Beauty of Makeup, the Beauty of Property. All discussed one by one.
