Abstract

DECISION SUPPORT ANALYSIS OF SELECTION ELECTRICAL SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (ESP) WITH SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW) METHOD BOBY APRILIANDO P NPM 143210594 ABSTRACT Field X is one of the oil production fields located in the Central Sumatra basin. In field X there is a problem of decreasing the rate of production, so that the replacement of the method of production is carried out with the Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) which aims to increase the rate of production. Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) is an electric pump used as an artificial lift with the aim that the targeted production rate is achieved. Another problem arises again when the number of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) products are marketed with various types and advantages that vary. This diversity certainly makes it difficult for companies to choose and determine Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) products that should be used to be more efficient with field conditions/wells. Therefore, in this study will be designed and made Analysis supporting the Decision of The Selection of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) Using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is one of the most widely used methods for solving problems with the topic of supporting decisions on the selection of a predetermined subject or object. The basic concept of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is to look for the most weighted summation of the performance rating (criteria) on each alternative to all existing attributes (benefit &cost). From the results of the analysis supporting the decision to select the Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, the electrical submersible pump that is effective and efficiently used in field X case studies is Red-A which has a value of 1.
