Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning devices namely in the form of a Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and Worksheet Students (LKPD) with the Discovery Learning model that is tested as valid and and practicality. Development of learning tools in research using R&D development method with a modified development model from Sugiyono namely: (1) Potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) Product design; (4) Validation the design; (5) Design revisions; (6) Product trials; (7) Product revision; (8) Final product. The instrument of this study was the RPP validation sheet, LKPD validation sheet, questionnaire teacher response, student response questionnaire, and questionnaire of the implementation of learning. Data collection techniques used are data validation from experts and data teacher response questionnaire, student response questionnaire, and sheet the implementation of the learning process. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The trial of this product was carried out in class VIII of SMP N 1 Keritang in numbers 28 students. From the research results obtained the validity of the RPP of 79.88% with a valid category and the LKPD validity value of 80.77% with a valid category. The results of the practicality of the RPP of 89.29% with very practical criteria obtained from teacher responses questionnaire, while the results of practicality LKPD of 89.38% with criteria very practical obtained from the student response questionnaire. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the research is development this results in a mathematics learning tool with the Discovery Learning model on cube and block material class VIII SMP N 1 Keritang tested validity and practicality.
