Abstract
Research on the application of active learning strategies type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) aims to improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes. The form of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This class action research was conducted in two cycles. The study was conducted in class VIII2 of SMP 20 Pekanbaru with 42 students, consisting of 22 male students and 20 female students, the data collection instruments used in this research were teacher activity observation sheets and student activity sheets, and results tests learning is obtained from UH I and UH II. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques and test techniques. Data analysis techniques used in this study were qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis of the results of the study showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes for students of class VIII2 at SMPN 20 Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the number of students who completed the basic score of 17 people from 42 students or 40.48%, increasing on daily tests I to 22 people from 42 students or 52.38%. Then it increased again on daily tests II to 29 people from 42 students or 69.05%. The results showed that the application of active learning strategies type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) can improve mathematics learning outcomes of students of class VIII2 SMP 20 Pekanbaru even semester semester 2018/2019.
