Abstract
Pedestrian lane or pedestrian lane is one of the physical infrastructure infrastructure in the form of roads intended for pedestrian activity. The pedestrian path that is on Jalan Ahmad Yani at present, is not functioning effectively. Due to various things, for example, pedestrian paths are used for other activities such as rental areas, vehicle parking, mobile hawkers, street vendors and so on. Data collection methods used through field survey techniques, questionnaire sheets, and interviews. The calculation method used is Descriptive Percentage Analysis. The total population of respondents is 100 respondents. The trial analysis used to measure item validity and reliability is used the Product Moment correlation formula and the Cronbach Alpha formula which shows the results of the Reliability of 0.608 declared valid and reliable. The results obtained from the calculations show an average score regarding the overall comfort aspect of getting a score of 294 or 51% on the Uncomfortable criteria. Of the 13 aspects of the track conditions there are 6 aspects that fall into the Uncomfortable criteria, while 7 aspects are in the Fairly Comfortable criteria. The conclusion is that the respondents considered that the pedestrian path is not functioning optimally due to poor circulation paths between pedestrians and street vendors, pedestrian paths that are too hot, and odor. To increase to be more comfortable, the city government needs to provide clear and strict regulations on street vendors so that pedestrian rights can be fully fulfilled and also the addition of shade trees to minimize heat and sunlight during the day.
