Abstract
The village is a community unit that has the authority to safeguard the interests of the local community one of the village's authorities in implementing population administration services, this is the process of recording data and information about villagers. Village Population Administration is a village government activity in collecting population data including migrants, migrants, deaths and births. In supporting the implementation of Population Administration effectively and efficiently, the Village Government seeks to improve direct population data collection services and collaboration with RT / RW. This study aims to determine the Implementation of Village Government Administration, particularly Population Administration in Medan Village, Kuantan Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, where data collection techniques are used by using interviews, namely getting the information needed through direct oral communication with informants or informants. In addition to interviews, data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model, which is to reduce the data that has been successfully collected and then presented and then made conclusions. From the results of research conducted in Medan Village, Kuantan Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency it can be seen that the implementation of the Village Population Administration is quite good, where the village government has cooperated directly with the RT / RW so that the population is recorded. Constraints faced in implementing village administration support infrastructure facilities ranging from computers, diesel engines, internet networks and transportation of operational data collection for residents and human resources who do not understand the Implementation of Population Administration. However, the authors suggest that the Village Government of Kampung Medan provide optimal population administration services and provide infrastructure to support the Implementation of Population Administration and work together with RT / RW and village communities.
