Abstract

Employment can have many angles and interrelationships, these linkages are not only for the benefit of the workforce during, before, and after the work period. But the interrelationships include all of the entrepreneurs, the government and the community. The scope of employment is not narrow, limited and simple. The reality is that in practice it is very complex and multidimensional, therefore, it is true that labor law does not only regulate employment relations, but also includes regulations outside of employment relations. As well as the authorities (government) if there are parties who are harmed, then there needs to be legal protection. Legal protection as a separate picture of the function of the law itself. Which has the concept that the law provides justice, order, certainty, benefit and peace. The main issues that will be examined by the author are as follows. What is the form of legal protection provided to workers at PT. Rohul Palmindio Darussalam and how is the implementation of law enforcement regarding the welfare of workers. From the results of the author's research that many find irregularities that occur in workers' rights, where legal protection itself is not present for workers in the company environment. The purpose of this research is to find out how the efforts to protect the welfare of workers have been fulfilled by the company. Judging from the type, this research is a sociological research that is by conducting a survey or directly descending the field relating to the problem to be studied. Based on the results of the authors' research, legal protection for the welfare of workers at PT. Rohul Palmindo Darussalam is not good enough or qualified, this is revealed by the results of the researcher's interview with the company's workers. The protection that should be carried out in accordance with the mandate of the law is not implemented properly by the company towards workers. Of course this is a shared responsibility of both the company, the community and of course a very important role is the supervision of the government itself.
